Halal Food Certificate
Halal food is to be prepared under strict Muslim dietary laws. Only those who prepared the food accordingly will be certified for the halal certificate. To be Halal certified, not only the way of preparation is important, the stall/food establishment should not also sell liquor/beer. The cost of getting a certificate will cost at least $147.66 (except for school canteen and short term stall.
Liquor License
For business retail that intends to supply any liquor for sale, barter or exchange will required to have a liquor license. The cost will be $520 - $1600 with a validity of 1 year. The processing time will take about 14 working days.
Tobacco License
For the retail of tobacco products, such as cigarettes, cigar, ang hoon, etc at a physical outlet at a specific location. The new license application fee is $400 ($60 for admin fee and $340 license fee), with the subsequent renewal fee at $300. It is valid for 12 months.
